Satvik people perspective to Indian Organisation
‘Satvik’ is this extinct concept in practicality, or can we see the
people in & around us. So do we all
became situation driven entity & our own moral instinct is not our own
anymore. We all are strongly bounded with the boundaries of selfishness,
compulsions & conundrum of mystic life that we don’t even want to stretch
ourselves & look beyond to become proficient, advanced & rhetoric.
Generally people are divided into three categories Tamas (Bhakti
yogi), Rajas (Karam yogi) & Satvik (Gyan yogi). Nature & universe want
more Satvik i.e. Gyan yogi who could be the change catalyst, will spread wisdom
& prosperity. Now the question arising ‘Do the organisation
really need Satvik people’ very vague & ambiguous question......India is
the nation with maximum population of youngest age but still we have economic
paralysis, political paralysis & other such stories. We have highly
qualified talented intellectuals associated for biggest firm, organisation,
government & statutory bodies still our growth is below expectation;
industrial output is not good & overall even after 22 years of
globalization we are a developing nation not a developed nation.
Our business environment plays a very crucial role for developing Satvik
people who are fearless, impart knowledge & carve for sustained development
for our society. Politicians have their own vested interest for every decision
taken, that makes weak administrative system full of corruption &
manipulation, which gives rise to business leaders having a big question mark
on their ethical & integrity issues.
For any developed nation composition of people with respectable
designation should be from lower to higher in order for Tamas, Rajas & Satvik
, so maximum number should be for Satvik people but in reality it is totally
opposite. This is the primary reason why United States of America had more
scientists, inventors & great business tycoon when compared with most of
the other countries.
Today’s unfair competitive market has also compelled Organisation to
practice unscrupulous behaviour to stand out & sell their products &
services. Also unfortunately, in corporate world people who practice bhakti
yogi are the achievers in terms of promotions, increments & organisational
hierarchy whereas gyan yogi employees could be at the lower level but only at
the initial stage but they also subsequently turned into bhakti yogi with the
kind of politics & dramatics of the corporate world or else they will be
out of the system dominated by bhakti yogi people.
So can we say that Tamas people are omnipresent, & Satvik are only
in concept & almost extinct in any organisation, but for holistic
development of organisation i.e. their reputation, employee satisfaction &
loyalty it is very important that more & more employee should be imbibed with
the qualities of Satvik & top management should always be Satvik in nature.
JRD Tata was the person who was Satvik in nature & hence Tata has imprinted
a huge brand image in India & became one of the most respectable organisation.
India is the country always looked as the destination for entrepreneurial
ventures & so many start ups
can be seen. With new organisations evolving & entering into corporate
world, it is very pertinent that for these upcoming years more & more
qualities of Satvik should be followed & practised to make our nation
developed with sustained development all around.
Warm Regards,
Hem Jha
